Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist students with physical tasks such as dressing, mobility, bathroom needs, feeding, and other daily activities.
• Work with individuals or small groups to reinforce learning and practice skills introduced by the teacher.
• Collaborate with teachers to devise strategies based on each student’s needs and abilities.
• Maintain a supportive relationship with students while avoiding over-identification.
• Supervise students during drills, assemblies, field trips, and lunch/break times.
• Assist with supervision duties for playground, lavatories, cafeteria, and bus loading activities.
