Job summary

Springfield Prep Charter School is seeking a Special Education Paraprofessional to provide academic and behavioral support to students with IEPs. You will implement curriculum, support behavior plans, and collaborate with teachers, families, and school leaders.

Requirements include an Associate's degree or higher, experience with children in elementary or middle school, and availability for 7:25 am–3:35 pm. Salary ranges from $42,000 to $50,000 with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in elementary or middle school settings.
• Ability to collaborate with general and special education staff, families, and leaders.
• Wamiliarity with IEP-based support and behavior modification strategies.

Responsibilities

• Implement curriculum prepared by general and special education teachers and plan small group lessons as directed.
• Apply behavior modifications and academic accommodations for students.
• Collaborate with general and special education teachers, culture team, leadership, and families.
• Assist with crisis interventions and monitor the School Culture Office as needed.
• Maintain records of student progress per IEP and related plans.
• Contact parents to discuss discipline or behavior issues.
• Supervise lunch/recess and monitor common areas to maintain order.
