Job summary

Baltimore County Public Schools seeks a paraeducator to assist students under a teacher's supervision, promoting learning and well‑being. You will work with individuals and groups, reinforce instruction, support life skills, and help manage classrooms and bus transitions.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and meet one qualification such as 48 college credits or ParaPro/ParaPathways with required scores.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• One of: 48 college credits, ParaPro 455+, ParaPathways scores, Foundations of Classroom Support 220.
• Experience with individuals with disabilities preferred.
• Experience with students in structured settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist students individually and in groups to promote learning and well‑being.
• Provide life skills management assistance and reinforce instruction.
• Assist with classroom management and students getting on/off buses.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
