Job summary

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• 48 college credits required.
• ParaPro Assessment with passing score of 455 or higher before 9/1/2026.
• ParaPathways with minimum passing scores: Reading/Writing 332 and Mathematics 334.
• Foundations of Classroom Support with minimum passing score of 220.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental, emotional, learning and/or physical disabilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists teachers in planning, implementing and evaluating instructional lessons and materials.
• Assists students individually or in groups with instructional activities and supervision.
• Assists and trains students in self-care and related tasks, including dressing, grooming, and toileting; helps with transfers and feeding as needed.
• Monitors student behavior and observes progress; discusses observations with instructional staff.
• Performs clerical tasks and basic office duties, and may operate a computer and office equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
