Job summary

Bonita Unified School District is seeking a Paraeducator Specialized Services II to support the special education instructional program. Under direct supervision, you will work with pupils in small groups or one-to-one, assist in preparing instructional materials and perform other assigned tasks.

This part-time role runs the school year with hours typically 6 per day (about 30 hours per week), Monday through Friday, with a floater site to be determined.

Qualifications

• Previous experience is desirable working with special education children, or as a volunteer in a school.
• Must meet ESSA requirements: HS Diploma or equivalent AND one of: 2 years of college (48 units), Associate's degree or higher, CBEST, or Paraprofessional Exam.

Responsibilities

• Assist with special education instruction in classroom and other locations.
• Work with pupils in small groups or one-to-one as tutors.
• Prepare instructional materials and perform other assigned tasks.
