Job summary

Spokane Public Schools is seeking a Comprehensive Intervention (CI) Paraeducator to support students with disabilities in the Special Design Program. The role requires kneeling, lifting and toileting care, feeding via G-tube, and following health and safety protocols.

You will implement individualized instructional and sensory plans, assist with AAC devices, and collect progress data under teacher supervision. Position includes SEBB benefits and a schedule of 8:00–3:30 with 7 hours per day.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to assist students with a broad range of disabilities.
• Must be able to kneel, bend, lift up to 50 pounds with assistance as needed.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional assistance in core academic areas under teacher guidance.
• Assist with student IEP implementations, accommodations, and data collection.
• Supervise mobility and safety of students in multiple settings and administer medication per policy.
