Job summary

ReNEW Schools seeks a Special Education Para Professional at Willow Creek Elementary School to assist with instruction under the direction of the classroom teacher and principal. The role supports students with behavioral and emotional needs, delivering individualized and small-group instruction and reinforcing curriculum.

Responsibilities include preparing materials, monitoring student progress, maintaining records, and assisting with crisis management and de‑escalation as directed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must meet Para Professional requirements.
• Pass the Para Pro assessment with a score of 460 or higher.
• Para Professional experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize materials for small group and individual instruction.
• Maintain high academic and social/emotional/behavioral standards and expectations.
• Provide tutorial help to students following lessons prescribed by the teacher and reinforce material and skills.

Education
