Job summary

ReNEW Schools seeks a Computer Lab Para Professional at Willow Creek Elementary School. You will work under the principal or classroom teacher to support educational goals through targeted instruction for individuals and groups.

You will prepare materials, reinforce lessons, monitor student performance, and help maintain a positive learning environment consistent with IEP-guidelines where applicable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must meet Para Professional requirements.
• Bachelor's Degree or 32 core credits from an accredited university.
• Para Pro assessment with a score of 460 or higher.
• Para Professional experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize materials for small group and individual instruction.
• Maintain high academic standards and expectations.
• Provide tutorial help to students following lessons prescribed by the teacher.
• Provide immediate feedback on student performance.
• Respond to students’ questions and requests for assistance.
• Observe students’ work and study habits.
