Job summary

Minnetonka Public School Service Center seeks a Class D1 Special Education Para for Clear Springs Elementary. This part-time role offers 6.5 hours per day, 184 days per year, starting wage $24.31/hour for the 2026-2027 year.

You will support, modify and monitor instruction, assist with self-care tasks, operate assistive tech, and participate in IEP conferences as requested. Strong teamwork and data-keeping are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting student instruction in classrooms preferred.
• Ability to document observational data and maintain logs.
• Familiarity with CPI strategies preferred.
• Certification: Personal Care Assistant Training through MN DHS completed.

Responsibilities

• Support, modify, adjust and monitor individualized instruction for students.
• Assist with self-care tasks; lifting and basic medical procedures as directed.
• Operate assistive technology and equipment.
• Maintain data logs and behavior charts.
• Participate in IEP conferences as requested.
• Adhere to privacy laws and confidentiality.
