Qualifications

• Education: Minimum of a High School Diploma, 60 hours of college credit or passing the Paraprofessional Praxis Exam.
• Experience: Preferred but not required.
• Computer Skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, and other applicable technology.
• Certificates & Licenses: Background checks (ASP/FBI and Child Maltreatment) as required.
• Other Requirements: Background checks completed per district policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional support and direct services to students under the supervision of teachers.
• Assist in implementing lesson plans and adapting activities to meet individual student needs.
• Monitor student behavior and safety inside and outside the classroom.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in committees as required.
• Prepare and organize teaching materials and classroom supplies.
• Assist with attendance, grading, and data recording as directed by teachers.
