Job summary

EDU-AIDs LLC is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our New Haven team. The teacher will develop and deliver mathematics lessons, assess student progress, and differentiate instruction to meet diverse needs.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid state teaching certification/license in Mathematics.
• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
• Previous teaching experience preferred.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze student performance data and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Strong knowledge of mathematics content and instructional strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging mathematics lessons aligned with state and district standards.
• Teach subjects such as Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Statistics, or General Mathematics depending on grade level.
• Assess student learning through assignments, quizzes, tests, and projects.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Utilize instructional technology and data-driven practices to improve student outcomes.
• Communicate regularly with parents, administrators, and school staff.
• Participate in school meetings, professional development, and extracurricular activities as required.
• Prepare lesson plans and maintain accurate student records.
