Job summary

Wayland Union Schools is seeking an SEIU Aide to support students under teacher supervision, helping with daily tasks and implementing students’ IEPs. This role also involves health-related assistance and promoting student well-being.

The position requires CPI training, reliability, and a calm, confidential approach; duties include behavior management and collaboration with the district’s special education team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; Associate degree preferred.
• CPI training required (district-provided).

Responsibilities

• Assist students with daily tasks under direct teacher supervision and implement IEPs.
• Assist students with toileting and health needs.
• Student intervention support in four core academic areas.
• Attendance is an essential function for this position.
• Maintain student behavior through appropriate intervention and techniques.
• All other responsibilities assigned by Director of Special Education or Building Administrator.

• High School diploma required, Associate degree preferred
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) Training Required (training provided by the district)
