Job summary

Wayland Union Schools in Michigan is seeking a SEIU Aide to assist students with daily tasks under direct teacher supervision in alignment with students' IEPs.

The role includes helping with toileting and health needs, supporting interventions in four core subjects, and maintaining attendance and behavior under the guidance of the Special Education leadership.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; Associate degree preferred.
• CPI Training is required and provided by the district.
• Ability to use technology and Google applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with daily tasks under direct teacher supervision with implementation of students' IEPs.
• Assist students with toileting and health needs.
• Student intervention support in four core academic areas.
• Attendance is an essential function for this position.
• Maintain student behavior through appropriate intervention and techniques.
• All other responsibilities assigned by the Director of Special Education or Building Administrator.
