Job summary

Young World Physical Education seeks an Intervention Specialist for the Reynoldsburg City Schools to provide high-quality instruction tailored to students with disabilities. Responsibilities include developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with educational standards.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's in Special Education, have a valid Ohio intervention specialist license, and be knowledgeable about state and federal regulations. This role aims to create an inclusive environment for all learners.

Qualifications

• Must pass a criminal background check (BCI/FBI).
• Experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) preferred.
• Certification or training in Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide specially designed instruction in whole-group, small-group, and 1:1 settings.
• Draft, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Collaborate with school psychologists and general education teachers.
