Reynoldsburg City Schools in Reynoldsburg, OH seeks an Intervention Specialist to provide high-quality, individualized instruction (SDI) and develop IEPs aligning with Ohio standards and OTES 2.0. The role focuses on supporting students with mild/moderate to moderate/intensive needs, ensuring FAPE in LRE.

The candidate will hold an Ohio Intervention Specialist license, have a bachelor's in special education, and collaborate with MDTs to monitor progress and maintain compliant documentation.

Formación

• Valid Ohio License: Intervention Specialist (Mild/Moderate K-12) AND/OR Intervention Specialist (Moderate/Intensive K-12).
• Knowledge of IDEA and IEP development and compliance requirements.
• Must pass a criminal background check (BCI/FBI).
• CPI training is preferred for enhanced qualifications.

Responsabilidades

• Develop annual goals and measurable short-term objectives based on each student's present levels of performance.
• Provide specially designed instruction in various settings (whole-group, small-group, 1:1) using evidence-based strategies.
• Draft, implement, and monitor IEPs in compliance with IDEA and state requirements.
• Collaborate with school psychologists, general education teachers, and related service providers to support inclusive practices.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure student safety during transitions and activities.
