Qualifications

• Active CT teaching certificate in Comprehensive Special Education PK–12 or 1–12, or eligible for one.
• Experience with IEP case management and student advocacy.
• Ability to collaborate with content and trade instructors to support differentiated instruction.

Responsibilities

• Case manage assigned students and monitor IEP development and progress.
• Plan and deliver reading, writing, and math instruction with appropriate accommodations.
• Collaborate with teachers to co-plan lessons and support transitions.
• Maintain compliant special education records per regulations.
• Facilitate PPT meetings and document student progress.
• Design and administer evaluations using multiple assessment methods.
