Responsibilities

• Assists teachers with coordinating instructional programs for special education students.
• Supports implementation of behavior intervention plans.
• Assists with planning, organizing, and preparing instructional materials.
• Maintains confidentiality and supports student independence.
• Provides in-class support and monitors student safety and wellbeing.
• Gives assistance for low- and high-tech assistive technology in the classroom.
• Coordinates student transitions between classes and supports health-related needs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
