Eagle Point School District 9 is hiring a Special Education Instructional Assistant (Pathways) for Eagle Rock Elementary in Eagle Point, Oregon. The role focuses on supporting students with disabilities and implementing IEPs in an inclusive classroom.

The ideal candidate collaborates with teachers and staff, commits to student development, and is willing to obtain CPR/First Aid/CPI training along with best practices in special education. Spanish bilinguals are encouraged to apply.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Postsecondary coursework, an associate’s degree, or passing district assessments required.
• Training or willingness to be trained in CPR, first aid, CPI restraint procedures, and special education best practices.

Responsabilidades

• Support students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development.
• Assist in implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Provide one‑on‑one or small group support to students with special needs.
• Assist students in personal and physical care as needed.
• Help create a positive, inclusive learning environment and ensure regulatory compliance.

Educación
