Job summary

Copperas Cove ISD is seeking a BSC Inclusion Aide to support special education programs in Hollie Parsons Elementary. You will assist in implementing highly structured classroom activities, including self-help, behavior management, and academic instruction, under the direction of certified teachers and the Director of Special Education.

The role requires completing certifications within the first year and working as part of a team to meet IEP goals while maintaining confidentiality and data

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and communicate with students and staff.
• Ability to apply instructions to daily classroom tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide services to students per IEPs as planned by special education staff.
• Collaborate with teachers to improve language and instructional activities.
• Assist in maintaining records and required reports.
• Transfer and assist students with physical needs as required.
• Support supervision during school hours including lunch, bus, and play areas.
