Qualifications

• State Board for Educator Certification for Educational Aide 1.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence; present information one-on-one and in small groups.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with physical needs and personal care for communication deficits.
• Keep the SLP informed of any special needs or problems of individual students.
• Assist the SLP in preparing instructional materials and classroom displays.
• Assist in maintaining a neat and orderly work area for students.
• Assist the SLP in keeping administrative records and preparing required.
