Job summary

Baltimore City Public Schools in Baltimore, MD seeks an Educational Associate for Nonpublic Services to implement policies for students with disabilities in nonpublic and residential programs. This full-time role requires a Master's in education, Maryland certification, and at least 3 years in K-12 settings; strong written and verbal communication; proficiency with Word/Excel; and

Qualifications

• Master's degree in education or related field required.
• Maryland certification or equivalent licensure required.
• Minimum three years of K-12 teaching or related experience.
• Knowledge of IDEA, COMAR, and district policies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and/or participate in IEP team meetings for nonpublic students.
• Monitor implementation of special education services and ensure FAPE.
• Develop high-quality IEPs aligned with federal, state, and district standards.
• Review assessments for COMAR compliance and coordinate with staff.
• Prepare and maintain IEP folders and related documentation.
• Submit Third Party Billing information and liaise with outside agencies.
