Job summary

Maine School Administrative District No. 33 is seeking two Special Education Ed Techs to provide instructional and behavioral support under the supervision of a certified teacher.

Responsibilities include assisting with classroom management, implementing educational plans, and supporting students with individualized needs in various educational settings. Required qualifications include Ed Tech Level 1–3 with CHRC clearance, Educational Technician Certification, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, plan for, and instruct small groups of students in settings removed from the classroom.
• Support students with special needs by following IEPs or behavioral plans.
• Monitor student behavior and assist in maintaining a positive classroom environment.
• Assist in data collection and documentation of student progress.
• Supervise students in various settings including classrooms, hallways, recess and lunch.
