Qualifications

• Minimum 24 semester hours completed in any discipline with passing Work Keys Assessments.
• Working knowledge of effective methods of dealing with children.
• Ability to solve minor problems and follow detailed written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher with planning, organizing, and evaluating instructional activities; developing classroom procedures; preparing materials; and presenting activities as directed by the teacher.
• Participate in activities to improve the total school program.
• Assist the teacher in ensuring a safe and healthful environment.
• Demonstrates clerical and technical skills necessary to assist the implementation of the program.
• Assist students with the understanding of rules and regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and neatness.
• Serve as a team player and role model for other employees; support core values like caring, respect, integrity, responsibility, high expectations, customer focus, and fairness.
