Qualifications

• Master’s degree in special education or related field.
• Valid state certification/licensure in special education administration.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in special education with leadership experience.
• Knowledge of IDEA and related laws and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide visionary leadership for special education policies, programs, and initiatives.
• Supervise and support special education staff and paraprofessionals.
• Develop and implement IEPs for students with disabilities in collaboration with families and educators.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal laws governing special education.
• Manage the budget and procurement of materials and services for special education.
