Job summary

Matheny Medical and Educational Center is seeking a Full Time Supervisor of Curriculum and Instruction. This role leads interdisciplinary teams of educators to ensure curriculum standards, effective instructional practices, and NJDOE compliance in an APSSD setting.

Under the supervision of the Assistant Principal/Director of Curriculum, you will coordinate curriculum PLCs, review IEP components, and support inclusive practices while mentoring staff and participating in hiring processes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid New Jersey Department of Education Supervisor Certificate.
• New Jersey Principal Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads curriculum development and alignment with NJSLS and NJDOE APSSD mandates.
• Supports teachers and service providers in delivering differentiated instruction aligned with IEPs.
• Coordinates Curriculum PLCs and professional development initiatives.
• Reviews IEP components for instructional alignment and regulatory compliance.
• Monitors classroom instruction and student progress for adherence to programs.

Education

Master's Degree in Special Education or related field
