Job summary

Lane Education Service District is seeking a licensed educator to support students with low incidence and social-emotional disabilities within its Life Skills Education Program. The role emphasizes behavioral and instructional support aligned with Individual Education Plans.

Responsibilities include collaboration with ESD and district staff, assisting with IEPs, and providing staff development. Strong communication and confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

Valid Oregon special education license or eligibility to obtain one.
Experience with IEPs and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Strong communication and confidentiality skills.

Responsibilities

Consult with ESD and district staff.
Assist in implementing IEPs and behavioral supports.
Attend IEP meetings to determine eligibility and develop IEPs.
Provide instructional and behavioral support aligned with curricula.
Observe classrooms and coach staff for effective implementation.
Maintain documentation of services and progress.
Collaborate with related services professionals.
Support transitions and referrals for services.
Participate in staff development and program planning.
