Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher in large and small groups with activities.
• Follow instructional plans based on the IEP.
• Prepare instructional materials and reports.
• Observe and chart student progress for the teacher.
• Assist with crisis behavior management.
• Assist students in special areas such as swimming, music and speech.
• Supervise and assist students in washrooms, lunch, recess and on buses.
• Participate in other building-level duties as assigned.
