Job summary

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, experience with children, and basic computer skills. You will work under the supervision of a special education teacher and participate in meeting the needs of students with IEPs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with children, preferably with disabilities.
• Basic computer skills (Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Educates and assists students individually or in small groups under the supervising teacher’s direction.
• Supports implementation of IEP goals and related accommodations.
• Prepares classroom materials and instructional aids; maintains a clean, safe environment.
• Attends staff meetings and trainings as required by the district.
• Assists with student transportation safety and daily routines as needed.
• Maintains confidentiality and professional conduct at all times.
