Job summary

Priority Charter Schools Temple invites an Educational Aide to support daily classroom activities and student learning under the supervision of a certified teacher. This role involves assisting with curriculum, supervising students, and helping with assessments in a dynamic elementary environment.

The ideal candidate will have at least a year of experience working with students in educational settings, a high school diploma or equivalent, strong communication skills, and a compassionate approach

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year experience with students in an educational setting preferred.
• Ability to work well with children and adapt to varying schedules.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with staff and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher with curriculum planning and classroom activities.
• Supervise students throughout the school day, inside and outside the classroom.
• Assist with administering and scoring basic tests and activities.
• Prepare teaching aids and support materials as directed by the teacher.
• Maintain neat and orderly classroom environment and assist substitute teachers.
