Job summary

Child Guidance Resource Centers is seeking an Elementary Education Services Counselor in Havertown, PA to provide academic support, supervision, and behavioral health interventions in the school setting. The role includes crisis intervention, emotional support, and coordination with IEP goals and staff.

The counselor will assist with assessment and supervision duties, maintain documentation, and participate in required trainings.

Responsibilities

• Provide behavioral support per IEP including crisis intervention and emotional support.
• Assist teachers with IEP implementation in the classroom.
• Monitor student progress and data per treatment plan and IEP.
• Communicate progress to families and team members.
• Supervise medication administration under RN guidance.
• Lead Social Skills groups as needed.
• Assess strengths and therapeutic needs of students.
• Intervene in crisis situations and provide immediate assistance.
• Complete documentation per CGRC procedures.
• Participate in required supervision and training.
