Job summary

Child Guidance Resource Centers in Havertown, PA, seeks a licensed mental health professional for Outpatient Therapy Services. You will conduct biopsychosocial assessments, provide individual, family and group therapy, and help children and adolescents reach treatment goals.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related behavioral health field required.
• Minimum of one year experience working with children, adolescents and families.
• Special Education is not accepted as a behavioral health field.

Responsibilities

• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments to assess client and family dynamics and determine diagnosis.
• Provide therapy services to promote exploration of personal and interpersonal dynamics.
• Develop effective treatment goals with measurable objectives.
• Facilitate agreement on goals and tasks of therapy; define roles of participants.
• Consult with other professionals involved in service to the child, adolescent and family.
• Provide information/referral services to ensure receipt of quality services/resources.
• Utilize treatment plans and outcome measures to track and adjust therapy.
• Meet program productivity expectations and complete administrative duties.
