Deer Park School District #414 is seeking a Behavior Intervention Specialist at Deer Park High School to enhance the learning environment. The role includes planning instructional programs, differentiating instruction, and collaborating with staff to support student behavior and achievement.
The position requires a Washington State Teaching Certificate with Special Education endorsement and a Bachelor’s degree.
Overview/Purpose:
Fosters and enhances an effective learning environment; facilitates the development and revision of curriculum and instructional materials; establishes and differentiates learning objectives and standards based upon general District guidelines; provides instruction, counsels, disciplines, supervises, and evaluates students with the purpose of meeting the needs of the individual student.

The 2026-27 base salary range for certificated staff in the Deer Park School District is between $58,477 to $115,275 per school year. Placement is defined within the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) and is generally based upon a combination of Education and Experience. Other forms of compensation may be available to the hired applicant in addition to their established salary range or wage scale as defined within the current collective bargaining agreement (CBA).
