POSITION SUMMARY:
The Audiology Technician provides essential support to audiological services for both general and special education students. This position assists licensed audiologists with evaluations, coordinates district-wide hearing screenings and manages administrative and compliance-related tasks. The Audiology Technician prepares students for testing, supports families during the evaluation process, and ensures accurate documentation and scheduling of services. This role is strictly supportive in nature and does not include independent evaluations, interpretation of results, or clinical decisionmaking. The technician works under the supervision of a licensed Audiologist. This position reports to the Director of Department Exceptional Students or their Designee.

Normal office setting.Some travel may be required to conduct testing and screening at assigned school locations.
Light duty - On most occasions sitting at a desk or table; intermittently sitting, standing, or stooping.Light lifting or carrying 20 lbs. or less
NOTE: This is a grade 18, 190 day position that pays for experience up to a Step 4.
Position Type: FULL TIME
Salary: $26,928 to $29,304 Per Hour
