Job summary

Clayton County Public Schools in Riverdale, Georgia seeks an Audiology Technician to support audiological services for general and special education students. You will prepare students for testing, assist with evaluations, coordinate district-wide screenings, and ensure accurate documentation and scheduling under the supervision of a licensed Audiologist.

Qualifications

• 60 semester or 90 quarter hours of college credit or an Associate's degree required.
• Minimum of 3 years experience working with Students with Disabilities or health field preferred.
• Supports scheduling, documentation, and student service preparation.
• Certification as mandated by the Professional Standards Commission. CPR/First Aid preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication; follows established procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supports the audiologist during student evaluations by preparing students and assisting during testing sessions.
• Coordinates district-wide hearing screenings by scheduling events and communicating with schools.
• Manages scheduling, confirmations, and student records; processes documentation.
• Maintains HIPAA/FERPA compliant records and assists with retention and purging.
• Maintains a clean, organized workspace; sanitizes equipment; tracks inventory; assists with supplies.
• All other duties as assigned to support audiology services.
