Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college experience or bachelor’s degree highly preferred.
• Experience working with students with special needs in an educational setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse group of students from varying developmental and cultural backgrounds.
• Lead small group instruction and implement SESI's academic rotational model.
• Assist the teacher with customized behavior and academic support and conduct assessments.
• Reinforce learning through tasks, use data to select materials, and complete one-on-one tutorials.
• Assist with large group activities, grading, and providing accommodations as needed.
• Utilize behavior support strategies and implement safety measures as required.
• Support daily plans and track student growth and progress toward goals.
