Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking an assistant teacher to support small groups of students with special needs in in-district classrooms or SESI standalone schools. You will work alongside the teacher to implement the SESI model, monitor progress, and communicate with families.

The position requires a high school diploma, with college experience or a bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience with behavioral support and daily planning is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college experience or bachelor’s degree highly preferred.
• Experience working with students with special needs in an educational setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse group of students in supporting learning and behavior.
• Lead small group instruction and implement SESI's instructional model.
• Assist the teacher with assessments and individualized tasks.
• Reinforce learning and track student progress with data.
• Collaborate with teachers and service providers to address needs.

Education
