Zusammenfassung

Specialized Education Services, Inc. is seeking a dedicated paraeducator to work with small groups of students in implementing the SESI academic rotational model.

You will collaborate with the teacher to provide customized behavioral and academic support, conduct assessments, and reinforce learning through targeted tasks and one-on-one tutorials. You will also assist with large group activities, grading, and enrichment, utilize behavior intervention strategies, and help monitor student growth

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma required; college experience or bachelor’s degree highly preferred.
• Experience working with students with special needs in an educational setting preferred.

Aufgaben

• Lead small group instruction using the SESI academic rotational model.
• Partner with the teacher to provide customized behavior and academic support and conduct assessments.
• Reinforce learning by assigning tasks, using data to choose materials, and completing tutorials.
• Assist with large group activities, grading, and guiding independent study or enrichment activities.
• Utilize behavior support and intervention strategies and implement de-escalation techniques.
• Assist with daily plans and track student growth toward academic, social, and emotional goals.
• Supervise students and ensure they are monitored to and from school locations.
• Collaborate with teachers, assistants, and related service providers to address student needs.
