Job summary

Royal Elementary in Louisburg, NC is seeking a Teacher Assistant-EC to support the lead teacher, provide one-on-one academic assistance, and lead small-group activities to promote quality instruction for all students.

This dual employment position also requires bus driving with licensure and ongoing qualifications. Immediate starting date; reports to the Principal at Royal Elementary.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree and/or 48 semester hours or WorkKeys assessment required.
• Experience supporting elementary students in academics and behavior.
• Ability to perform clerical duties and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead teacher with instruction and evaluate effectiveness.
• Provide one-on-one academic support and reinforce instructions.
• Monitor student safety and assist with behavior management.
• Maintain classroom records and assist with materials preparation.
• Perform general clerical duties and operate classroom equipment.
