Job summary

Mesa Public Schools is seeking an instructional assistant to support certified teachers and specialists in monitoring and instructing students with IEP goals. You will help with daily living activities, classroom tasks, and clerical duties to ensure effective learning.

Under supervision, you will collect data, modify materials as needed, and implement de-escalation and safety protocols while maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 60 college credits required at time of hire or pass the ParaPro Test.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in similar roles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom work and reinforce objectives under teacher direction.
• Assist in developing instructional materials and maintaining the classroom.
