Job summary

Amergis is seeking a School Aide to support students requiring instructional and behavioral assistance under the supervision of the special education department and teachers. The role includes assisting with personal mobility and therapeutic care tasks as directed by health professionals.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma, CPR if applicable, TB screening or chest x-ray if applicable, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Candidates must be 18 or older.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with instructional and behavioral support under supervision of the special education department and teachers.
• Provide support services to assist students with personal mobility and therapeutic care needs as established by a rehabilitation health practitioner or other health professional.
