Job summary

Applitrack seeks a School Aide to support a special education classroom. You will assist in preparing and managing activities and completing administrative requirements to meet students' physical and instructional needs.

The role supports program implementation including self-help, behavior management, and data collection under the direction of a certified teacher and the principal. Experience with children is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Texas Educational Aide Certificate (can be obtained after hire).
• Must have completed at least two years of study or an associate degree or equivalent.
• Demonstrated quality via state/local assessment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the special education teacher in preparing and managing classroom activities and administrative requirements.
• Assist in implementing classroom programs, including self-help, behavior management, data collection, and instruction.
• Work under the general supervision of the principal and the immediate direction of a certified teacher.
