Job summary

Applitrack is seeking a Special Education Teacher Assistant for the District to support teachers in delivering instruction and supervising students. The role includes clerical tasks and assisting with behavior plans to maintain a calm, safe classroom environment.

The position is full-time (hourly) with a salary range of $17.39–$20.47 per hour plus an additional $1,000 per year in compensation. Applicants must meet education requirements and pass standard background checks.

Qualifications

• Minimum education requirements include PreK and K-12 pathways with applicable credits.
• Background check and child abuse registry check are required for all employees.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional support to reinforce teaching and adapt activities.
• Assist with behavior monitoring and safety in the classroom.
• Support personal care and mobility tasks and record keeping.
