Responsibilities

• Help teacher prepare instructional materials and displays; keep classroom neat and orderly; assist with equipment inventory and maintenance; help maintain administrative records; orient substitutes.
• Assist students with physical disabilities including transfers, lifting, positioning, and personal care; monitor student needs and adapt approaches; work with individuals or small groups to develop motor skills; supervise students during the day.
• Maintain confidentiality; participate in staff development, meetings, and events; follow safety protocols and emergency procedures.
