Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have or be eligible for SBEC paraprofessional certificate.
• Capable of CPR/Heimlich and NCI training.
• Experience with students and parents in an educational setting.
• Able to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist with IEP implementation and instructional support.
• Supervise students during the day, including lunch, bus, and playground.
• Support instructional material preparation and behavioral interventions.
• Assist in testing and use of assistive devices as appropriate.
• Help with lifting, positioning, and personal care for students with disabilities.
• Document services and support SHARS billing as required.
• Participate in professional development and collaborate with staff.
