Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a School Aide in La Mesa, CA for a part-time contract role. You will assist students with instructional and behavioral needs under the supervision of the special education team.

The position involves supporting students’ personal, mobility and therapeutic care needs as directed by health professionals. Candidates must have a high school diploma and meet regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current CPR where applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest X-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist students requiring instructional or behavioral support under supervision of the special education department, teacher or designee.
• Provide support services for students with personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs as established by health professionals.
