Job summary

Fort Bend ISD seeks a dedicated Aide Special Education Student Specific to provide individualized support to a student with disabilities across multiple settings, ensuring access to the curriculum in the least restrictive environment. You will implement and document the student’s IEP under teacher guidance to maintain a safe, engaging learning atmosphere.

Responsibilities include behavior support per ARD plans, data collection on progress, and assisting with personal care needs as required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform essential duties with reasonable accommodations.
• Proficient in using Windows OS and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Interact with identified student in various settings to ensure safety and engagement.
• Assist with classroom management and supervision of identified student at all times.
• Execute behavioral strategies as identified by the teacher per ARD documents.
• Implement academic/functional lessons under guidance of the teacher in various settings.
• Assist identified student with personal care services (e.g., feeding, dressing, toileting, lifting).
