Job summary

Fort Worth ISD is seeking a Teacher Assistant II Special Education (Resource/Inclusion) to support certified teachers by providing instructional assistance and helping manage classroom activities.

You will reinforce reading, language arts, math, and science, work with students individually and in small groups, and assist with IEP processes and participation in student evaluation teams. The role includes aiding students with daily living tasks when needed.

Qualifications

• Accredited High School diploma or GED.
• Texas Educational Aide Certificate required.
• One year of experience working with children.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred in some settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist students to reinforce reading, language arts, mathematics, science, and other skills.
• Work with students individually and in small groups to reinforce learning.
• Assist with IEP process and support the student evaluation team as needed.
• Assist with supervising lunch, bus duty, playground, and field trips.
• Assist with record-keeping to document student learning and performance.
