Qualifications

• Ability to learn and implement a variety of teaching strategies.
• Demonstrate proficient verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide teaching support and services under the direction of a licensed special education teacher in the implementation of IEPs.
• Provide educational assistance to students with disabilities and help develop/modify instructional materials.
• Assist with data collection and progress monitoring of students’ development (academic, social/emotional, etc.).
• Chaperone students on field trips during the regular school day.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to the Teacher Code of Ethics.
