Job summary

Ysleta Independent School District seeks a paraprofessional to support students with disabilities across classroom and non-classroom settings. You will assist with IEP implementation, behavior strategies, and adaptive equipment under certified teacher supervision.

The role requires lifting, assisting with personal care, and documenting services in accordance with SHARS and district policies. A valid SBEC paraprofessional certificate and CPR/NCI training are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 48 college hours acceptable.
• Paraprofessional SBEC certificate required or eligible for certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students during school day and in various settings (lunchroom, bus, playground).
• Assist teacher with instructional materials, behavior interventions, and student needs.
