Job summary

Qualifications

• Certification requirements include a valid TASN (NCLB) paraprofessional license from ISBE.
• 60 semester hours or paraprofessional exam (Work Keys or Parapro) must be completed for employment.
• CPR training is required or will be completed as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in instruction of students with various disabilities as per IEP.
• Provide one-on-one tutoring and personal hygiene services.
• Assist with daily living skills, positioning equipment, feeding, and notes on student progress.
• Support teachers with behavior records, field trips, and ongoing training.
